If anyone saw the interview with Adele on Oprah then you saw the beautiful peachy nude matte lipstick she was wearing. It was a stunner of a color! My sister called me the next day saying “what lipstick was that?!?!”
I fell in love with the color and was able to find 2 different products that were a dead ringer match for what I call the “Adele lipstick.”
The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk and Revlon Nude Matte Pick Me Up 003 create the exact same color. They are both give a really beautiful pinky brown nude lip which is gorgeous! Both are matte, which is key for creating the on-trend look.
While these 2 look nearly identical, there is a distinct difference between them…the price!
Let me break down for you the ups and downs of each and give you my personal input on which is worth the cash.
The Designer Option
Charlotte Tilbury
Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Lipstick
Like most designer brands this is a nice option especially if you pair it with the matching lipliner. It has a pillow talk gloss that goes over the top for a little wetness and protection, should you want that option.
Pro: the packaging. 😂 As a sucker for packaging, I love the elegance of the gold shimmer tube! I also do love the coordinating lipliner option.
Con: I’m not a fan because I find it to be a tad drying. If you have dry lips I definitely would not recommend this. It will show every crack and crevice and will definitely dry you out.
Verdict: If I’m being honest this product is not my favorite but many people swear by it as a classic, must have lip option.
In my opinion, while it’s a nice option, it just may not be worth the money.

Revlon
Super Lustrous Lipstick – Pick Me Up 003
Pro: This is hands down the way to go to get that same color Adele had. I would suggest you save your money on the Charlotte Tilbury with the Revlon. Perhaps add in the Pillow Talk lipliner if you want.
Con: Like the Charlotte Tilbury, it can still be a little dry but matte lipsticks typically will run on the dry side.
Verdict: Here’s the truth, I like the Revlon better! It gives the exact same color without the price tag. Who wouldn’t love that?

I’m not knocking Charlotte Tilbury at all! There is another lipstick by her that I absolutely LOVE and would swear by. Check it out here.
