I moved to Atlanta right after college (talk about living in loungewear – I did then, still do – keep reading.) I visited the city on a girls trip my senior year and knew within 24 hours that this was my town. Something about Atlanta just clicked with me. I never saw it as a stopping point in life as so many Atlantans do. I wanted to meet a boy in Atlanta, I wanted to stay and live there and I wanted to raise a family there.
My parents were understandably a little upset since they had hoped I’d live close to home. However, when they came to visit and saw the city through my eyes they understood why I loved it so much.
And wouldn’t you know – my plan worked. I moved here, met a boy here, married him and am now raising a family here. It’s been nearly 16 years and I’m proud to call Atlanta home!

I went shopping and bought two new things from the store that felt like me and am sharing them here. These pants are awesome – super lightweight and have an elastic waistband. I’m not kidding when I say I’ve been wearing them all weekend. Super casual, super easy but cute. Yep, that’s my style.
