For those of you who buy for yourself the day after Christmas, here’s a great list of splurge-worthy items. Looking back through both my house, closet, and entertainment splurges, these are the items I am glad I spent the money on! In case you’re looking for a second “yes, I agree it’s worth it” friend to help you make that final purchase decision!
Home Items Worth Buying
White Outdoor Pillow
I bought two of these last year from Serena and Lily for my porch area. I really wanted to put four more on my chaise lounges outside, but I was worried how both the white color, and embroidery would last. After seeing my balcony pillows not only survive, but thrive outdoors I pulled the trigger. And man oh man – am I glad I did!
The Serena and Lily outdoor pillows are the jam! No lie – they are still bright white, clean in the washing machine like a dream and look every bit as good today as they did when I purchased them. These are 100% worth the splurge. Major look, very high quality.
Which leads me to my second Serena and Lily product worth every penny – the indoor swing! My daughter begged for this for months. We bought it for her 12th birthday. Ack! It’s so cute! Her friends go nuts over it, too! She reads in it all the time! It can hold a ridiculous amount of weight (yes, all 3 of my kids have crammed themselves in it when playing!)
Super sturdy, super cute and worth it. A great “big gift” idea for the girl/young lady in your life!
Other S&L products I own, love & can attest to:

Custom framing from Framebridge.
Oh man – this company rocks with framing. So affordable, so easy and so well done! Upload your image, pick a frame online and they’ll send it to you!
Le Creuset Quart Pot
If you own a Le Creuset, you understand the magic that lies within them. I have two red Le Creuset that I love and cook with every-single-night. This year I added a neutral tone Le Creuset so that I could keep it out on display. LOVE IT.
NARS lipstick in Falbala
The NARS lipstick in Falbala is a no-fail lip color is the perfect nude. It glides on, keeps your lip soft and I believe would work for almost all skin tones. A perfect lipstick. So perfect that I own at lest 6 – some for every purse, my car and my makeup vanity!
Full review with before and after pictures coming soon! I have been botox/filler free for a long time, and have been testing both the TNS Essential Serum and SkinMedica G5 Hydrator to see how well it works. I had pictures taken before and plan to have more taken soon. These two products are what I’m testing, and I love love love. Read the reviews — I’m not alone in this!
This Alice and Olivia houndstooth coat is so pretty! It’s my go-to these days, especially since I usually dress in solid colors. It adds a punch. And it’s a best seller so hurry. I sized down.
