I was recently sent the Philips SatinShave Wet & Dry Women’s Rechargeable Electric Shaver to use and review for you guys! Here is my honest review….

Gifts for Teenagers. The Philips SatinShave Electric Razor is an awesome gift for teenage girls!

Right off the bat, I need to be candid and share that I’ve never liked electric razors. I find them scratchy, hard to get any form of hair growth off, and my skin was always left flaky. Electric razors have just never been something I’ve kept around. So, I was intrigued by this one because I’m always on the go and don’t always have, ahem, skin exposure ready skin! So, I was hoping for a surprise – which I got!

What I Like

The Philips SatinShave gives you a solid, quick shave when you’ve run out of time. I had zero issues with nicking. In fact, it’s surprisingly soft to the skin and doesn’t hurt at all and actually works.

The shaver has a clean and easy design. Charge it up fully before the first use, and you’re good to go for a full hour. The battery lasts a long time – for me it’s lasted well over a week, and at least four uses, and still has charge left. It has a good weight and is easy to use. Plus, it reaches curves which is a major bonus so you don’t have patches!

The Philips SatinShave is very well priced. It’s a great value and works really well. I especially liked it on my underarms. The travel aspect is a major attribute and reason to buy.  I brought it on a weekend trip for touch-ups. Loved it!

Also, major kudos to the fact that it did not leave my skin flaky or dry – which is super important to me and has been my biggest complaint about electric razors in the past. It has a floating foil shaving head to keep it close to your skin to keep your shave from getting patchy – that had to help with skin flakiness, too!

It works in water and dry, but I used it mostly dry. I did try it in a bathtub and shower and it worked fine, but I found myself using it dry the most.

The package comes with a trimming comb attachment for grooming the bikini area as well.

When I Would Use It

I would 100% grab the Philips SatinShave for the thousands of times I have an “oops I forgot to shave and I need to run out the door” moment! I wear a lot of dresses or shorts, so it works great for a fast shave.

Who I Recommend It For

The Philips SatinShave makes an awesome stocking stuffer for a young lady like a high school or college student. Truthfully, I may get it for my daughter, who’s in middle school, because you have a less likely chance of nicking yourself when shaving in a hurry!

It’s also a great-to-have beauty product when you’re in a pinch. For the price, you’ll love how well it works!

Also – if you travel a lot, you’ll love it! Convenient, easy and battery lasts a long time.
