Flowers make me happy. Whether it’s simply cutting branches from a tree in my backyard to perennials I grow or even faux flowers (I have a ton!) Bringing color or greenery into my house instantly uplifts my mood. Sharing some beautiful ways to display a vase of flowers to uplift your mood and home!
Tip 1: Pitchers make beautiful vases
Water pitchers or jugs make gorgeous floral vessels! The handles add a rustic charm and casual look for any display. I use everything from small actual glass water pitchers for sweet counter displays in my kitchen, to giant urn-like rustic pitchers to display a giant bunch of hydrangea!

Tip 2: Buy forever pieces
Buy forever pieces and you’ll never need to replace them. This is true for almost everything isn’t it? Buy the classics! The white vases I own are my all-time favorite and float through my house finding new spots to fill with decor and blooms. White lets every floral arrangement shine – from branches picked in your back yard, to poinsettias during the holidays!

Tip 3: Add Texture and Layers
Add interest wherever you can! Here the color scheme is soft and light, but the detail on the vase creates visual interest. The layering of the pattern with the color of the accessories and wicker tray let your eye wander and take in the whole display!

Tip 4: Grouping adds Impact
Make a bold statement with your floral arrangements by displaying them with multiple vases. In this display, the vases are all apart of the same collection, but have slightly different shapes. The overall impact is grand which lets the florals take center stage!

Tip 5: Don’t Forget Outdoor Spaces
Create beautiful floral moments on your back or front porch with outdoor vases. Plant some annuals, or grow some herbs in a more decorative small vase. Set it on a tray and group with succulents to add a pretty vignette.
